A brief review of Chris Freville’s Automated List Builder.
Automated List Builder? It’s funny I should be writing about this. I do not like setting up email lists. I have to admit it. Installing and running an auto-responder is not exciting. It’s dull. Not too long ago I didn’t know an auto-responder from Adam. But here I am. Writing about a list building product.
I have a good reason, so bear with me.
After looking over and test driving an evaluation copy of Chris’s product, my opinion is not as negative. I am not what you would call a fan, but I am definitely more interested. I’ll go into why below, but first, here is what comes with this package.

What’s good
Anytime you can automate a complex boring task, you have a major improvement in living. Don’t feel bad if you are not an expert in auto-responders and email lists. It’s not your fault. It’s a very technical stuff task. I know I start yawning with when I start dealing with code and reading instruction manuals.
Think about this. How would you like to do the following with no more effort than it takes to write a short note and copy/paste some stuff? Chris says it’s easy.
- Make a list of names and email addresses
- Opt-in boxes
- Squeeze pages
- Increase new subscriber opt-in confirmations
- Design drop downs
- Organize your lists
- Test results
- Find niches
- Auto-responder campaigns
How about them apples? I’ve seen it and fiddled with it so I know it’s true. You can do all that. But there’s more. This product can easily increase your conversion rate by over 60% and help grow a list of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of subscribers. You can take that one to the bank. Of course, you have to work and promote your site and sell good products, but if you do that, you undoubtedly will get massive opt-ins.
Here’s the sneaky part. Chris didn’t let on to anyone what he was really up to. He actually came up with some breakthrough list-building processes that no one else has been able to do, from setting one up to running it. It is also quick and easy.
Beginners can learn this stuff easily. It’s no more difficult than signing up for Web 2.0 accounts. Even online marketing gurus will love this quick and effective automation.
I won’t spoil the surprise, but I can tell you that these innovations will impress you as much as they did me. More. They will blow you away. The history of email marketing is being made with this product.
What’s not so good
Well, Automated List Builder is isn’t sexy, that’s for sure. If you think that auto-responders and email lists are dull and hard to learn, you’re right. They are. But they’re not rocket science, either. Anyone can easily do them.
I know I will gladly be using Chris Freville’s product as a major elemetnt of my own marketing. This thing just made my load a whole lot lighter. In fact, it is supposed to send sales throught the roof, not just build lists. So with all that extra money coming in, I imagine it will start becoming fun to do.
(That’s a really lame excuse, but there it is…)
There is another con, too. This depends on your concept of ethics. These three list building programs actually conquer visitors. The process takes them gently by the hand and leads them through the opt-in process, It convinces them that they want to be led. You have to see this to believe it. They will not impatiently put up with the hassle, but instead, they actually will want to join your list. I happen to think that’s great, but some people call it brainwashing.
Final thoughts
We are finally able to get what the gurus get. They shouldn’t be hogging all the good stuff, anyway.
I suggest you take a look at Automated List Builder. Check it out. If you want to work at making money online, you’re going to have to build a list, so check it out. It will be launched to the public on July 15, 2008. Maybe it will not be for you, but it is for me. This is not part of my toolkit.
